TextBook from Storacall is a software & hardware solution that enables individuals and organisations to send and receive both SMS Text Messages and email messages directly from desktop machines, without the need for an Internet Connection, or the need to involve a third party service provider to send the messages out.

Textbook enables SMS Text Messages and or emails to be sent instantly, or on a scheduled basis, to individual mobile phones or to groups of mobile phones. TextBook can be used as a stand-alone system or as a networked system for many users. The Textbook package comes with a GSM module, software and an airtime contract.

The software allows users to set up groups of contacts to send messages to, all at once and up to 160 characters can be sent in one message and if the message is greater than 160 characters, TextBook will split it up into multiple messages and send it out. As many predefined messages or templates as required can be set up, auto signatures can be added and data can be imported from CSV Files, spreadsheets, databases and address books.

Storacall TextBook software and GSM module is priced at £299.95 +VAT with additional users at £49.95+VAT each. The TextBook package includes an airtime application form and instruction book.
