One of the great advantages of SMS Text Messaging is that you can 'send it and forget it' - if the recipient is out of range or their mobile phone is temporarily switched off, the message will normally be delivered within minutes of their mobile phone coming back into range or being turned on. For situations where it is essential to have message delivery confirmed, then our two-way communication option can be added to allow intelligent automated handling of responses from remote users.

Audit logs can confirm when a message was sent and, using the two-way communication option, confirmation of receipt, time and date and the nature of the response can also be logged. The optional reporting package provides statistical analysis of activity on a departmental or team basis over a selected period of time, allowing usage to be monitored and operating costs to be assigned to the appropriate department.

Storacall offers a range of SMS solutions suitable for businesses, private and public organisations, including:
	Centrally managed Internet-based facilities that can be activated from virtually any web browser
	Software packages to run on your existing PC network
	Turn-key packages including pre-installed software on a dedicated PC based server
	Bureau facilities suitable for large-scale campaigns and premium rate or interactive services
	Bespoke solutions including optional integration with corporate database systems

Product Features

PC based solutions are designed for stand-alone or multi-user networked environment. Uses conventional client/server technology to provide an efficient and reliable solution that will be readily accepted by the IT department while giving users the intuitive and straightforward interface they require.

Personal and global address books are available and details of contacts can be imported from Microsoft Outlook or other applications.

Delivery/connection methods are configurable and may be selected to provide the most suitable solution for your organisation. The methods available are:
	Direct Internet Link - the Messaging Server must have a direct connection to the Internet. Message delivery is quick and reliable. Billed monthly. Costs start at 10p per message with reductions for large volumes.
	Conventional Analogue Modem - the Messaging Server is configured to dial out to special service centre (these are operated by the mobile phone service providers). Slower than Internet, but provides a simple self contained solution requiring nothing more than an analogue telephone line. Costs vary, but are typically less than 10p per message.
	GSM Modem - a special modem that operates exactly like a mobile phone. Requires a SIM card. The modem antenna must be located where there is a good signal. Costs depend on the arrangements you have with your mobile phone service provider.

Storacall Enhanced Software Package:

Storacall can provide an optional software enhancement package which retains all the features mentioned above plus the following:
	Select your message from a library of pre-defined messages
	Send messages to individuals, teams, pre-defined groups or ad-hoc groups
	Create contact lists from Excel spreadsheets, Outlook or other external data sources
	Integrates with the Storacall UltraVox call processor range, including Storacall Voicemail

Storacall can also provide bespoke solutions linking Text Messaging to your corporate databases or allowing messages to be triggered by external alarms or events.
