What phone systems are compatible?

BT phone systems (such as the Avaya IP Office and Mitel MiVoice) are compatible with BT Cloud Voice SIP. But if you have another phone system you could still take BT Cloud Voice SIP by using our BT SIP Trunk Gateway.

What do I need to use BT SIP trunks?

You’ll need to have an internet connection with sufficient bandwidth – we recommend BTnet or Superfast business fibre broadband – with a compatible phone system, or BT SIP Trunk Gateway.

Will my call quality be compromised?

With BT Cloud Voice SIP, there’s always an amount of bandwidth dedicated for voice calls. Even if you’re using the rest of your bandwidth, your voice calls will always get through. With call quality just like traditional phone lines, users shouldn’t notice a difference.
